Hi, I’m Leah – Founder of Bloomed​​​​​​​

 

Bloomed was born after I relocated to Herefordshire in search of a more creative, grounded way of life. With a background as a project manager and chartered procurement professional, I had spent years in the corporate world—but I was ready for something different. Something more meaningful.

Inspired by generations of floral artistry in my family, what began as casual conversations over coffee slowly bloomed into a business I truly love. I wanted to create something special—something beautiful, sustainable, and thoughtful.

I’ve always been passionate about reducing waste, and I was shocked by how much is created in the wedding and events industry. That’s why I created Bloomed: to offer an alternative. We focus on using living, potted plants in our floral designs, which means far less waste—and a much more sustainable approach to decorating your big day or event.

​

I’m lucky enough to work alongside my mum, Wendy— the queen of the hand-tied bouquet. She trained at the British Academy of Floral Art and has years of floristry experience. ​​

​

Together, we’re a bit of a hybrid—we’re part sustainable florist, part plant hire company. We offer blooms for hire using potted plants, but we also work with locally cut flowers and stems. Whether you’d like 100% living plants or a mix of living and locally grown cut flowers, we’ll create something bespoke that fits your vision perfectly.
